Brazil is the world’s largest soybean producer and exporter, with soybean production accounting for approximately 35% to 37% of the world’s total. Argentina is the world’s third largest soybean producer and exporter, with soybean production accounting for approximately 10% to 14% of the world’s total. Their production combined account for more than half of the global production.
Soybean grows from October to February in South America, right after soybean harvests in the US. Production estimates are used to indicate which country might have supply shortage.
