Top 10% Income Share
The income share of the top 10% is one of the indicators used by the World Inequality Database (WID). It represents the proportion of the national income earned by the top 10% of the population. A higher value indicates that a larger share of the income is concentrated in the hands of the wealthy, reflecting a higher degree of income inequality.
