The panel industry is involved in the production of various types of display panels, with applications spanning televisions, computer monitors, smartphones, tablets, laptops, and automotive displays. The industry can be divided into three segments:

1. Key Materials: At the upstream of the industry, this segment involves supplying essential materials for panel manufacturing, such as photoresists, color filters, glass substrates, driver ICs, polarizers, backlight modules, and targets. Suppliers are primarily from technologically advanced countries like Japan, South Korea, and the US.

2. Panels & Display Modules: This segment involves assembling display components, connectors, control and driver circuits, PCBs, backlights, and other components into panels or display modules. Related display technologies include thin-film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD), organic light-emitting diode (OLED), and MicroLED, with manufacturing capacities primarily located in Asian countries such as China, South Korea, and Taiwan.

3. Downstream Applications: Display panels have diverse applications, including smartphone touch screens, laptop and computer monitors, televisions, automotive displays, and more.
